kappa vevichathu is the kerala's own recipe.every body loves the dish.

- tapioca - 1 kg
- grated coconut-1/2 portion
- mustard seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
- turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- salt - required
- curry leaves -required
- coconut oil - 1 tablespoon
- garlic - 6 or 7 cloves
- sliced shallots - 6 to 7
- green chillies - 3
- dried red chillies - 3
- cut the tapioca into small cube pieces.
- take a big pan and add the tapioca with required water and salt.
- let it cook for about 15 to 20 minutes
- take a small blender,add ingredients 2,4,8,10 and crush it using the blender
- then take a pan ,add coconut oil on low flame
- after heating the oil add mustard seed and let it crack
- then add shallots, curry leaves and dried red chillies to the oil
- do not burn the chillies
- take an another pan and put the cooked tapioca in it
- add the crushed ingredients in to the tapioca and mix it well and add the fried shallots and chillies to it
- and also add salt for your taste
