kappa vevichathu is the kerala's own recipe.every body loves the dish.
                                              

kerala style kapp


ingredients :

  1. tapioca - 1 kg
  2. grated coconut-1/2 portion
  3. mustard seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
  4. turmeric powder -  1/2 teaspoon
  5. salt - required
  6. curry leaves -required
  7. coconut oil - 1 tablespoon
  8. garlic -  6 or 7 cloves
  9.  sliced shallots - 6 to 7
  10. green chillies -  3
  11. dried red chillies - 3

preparation:
  •  cut the tapioca into small cube pieces.
  • take a big  pan and add the tapioca with  required water and salt.
  • let it cook for about  15 to 20 minutes
  • take a small blender,add ingredients 2,4,8,10 and crush it using the blender
  • then take a pan ,add coconut oil on low flame
  • after heating the oil add mustard seed and let it crack
  • then add shallots, curry leaves and dried red chillies to the oil
  • do not burn the chillies
  • take an another pan and put the cooked tapioca in it 
  • add the crushed ingredients in to the tapioca and mix it well and add the fried shallots and chillies to it
  • and also add salt for your taste

serve it with fish curry or chicken curry
